Ingredients
8ozfeta cheese, block in brine, drained
1cuppumpkin puree (100% pure, not pie filling)
1/4cupplain Greek yogurt (full-fat preferred)
1clovegarlic, peeled
2tbspextra virgin olive oil, plus more for garnish
1tbsphoney, plus more for garnish
1/8tspground cinnamon
1/8tspground nutmeg
1/4tspred pepper flakes, plus more for garnish
2tbsptoasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds), for garnish
1tbspfresh thyme or rosemary, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Pat feta dry and crumble into large chunks. Place feta and garlic in a food processor.
Pulse several times until feta is finely crumbled.
Add pumpkin puree, Greek yogurt, olive oil, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and red pepper flakes.
Process on high for 2–3 minutes, scraping down sides as needed, until completely smooth and whipped.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Chill for 30 minutes if desired for best flavor.
Drizzle with olive oil and honey. Garnish with pepitas, herbs, and extra red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
Use block feta in brine for the smoothest texture. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
